SURF’S UP AS YOUNG BRIDGERS CELEBRATE FOOTY AWARDS!

Young players from Wadebridge Town Football Club celebrated their end of season awards day as guests of Surf’s Up, surf school at Polzeath on Sunday June 28th. The youngsters were treated to an afternoons surfing with the excellent instructors from the popular surfing school. Following the surfing, parents and children along with the guys from Surf’s Up all tucked into a BBQ. All of the youngsters then received a trophy as a memento of the 2008/09 season, at Wadebridge Town. Individual awards were also presented to the Player’s Player and Most Improved Player from each of the age groups, from Under 7’s to 10’s.

Under 8’s Player’s Player – Will D, Most Improved Player – Jack R

Under 9’s Player’s Player – Jack P, Most Improved Player – Riley H.

Under 10’s Player’s Player – Robbie G, Most Improved Player – Billy C.
