Sade is one of our superstars who often goes unnoticed on match day, but is a vital cog in our whole management team and football operations. Sade (or Shardz as we all know her) literally keeps our team in one piece! Before every game she can be found taping up and diagnosing injuries to ensure we can get a team out for the match. During the game she takes care of every injury and after the game there is often a queue for the physio’s room.
Shardz has been our physio since 2012 and is currently in her 3rd and final year of her Physiotherapy degree at University of Plymouth and is currently on her placement at Penzance.
Shardz does some great work for charity and in 2019 she ran the London Marathon raising over £2,000 for her chosen charity of Whizz-Kidz. This was a fantastic achievement for Whizz-Kidz who work hard to transform the lives of wheelchair users across the UK, supporting them to become confident and independent young adults.
All in all, Shardz is an absolute super star and we are so pleased to have her as a dedicated and loyal Bridger. Thanks Shardz 😊
