We welcome the players, staff and supporters of Sticker to Bodieve Park for this league encounter on Saturday as we honour Ron Bray.
Hard to find the words writing this having just got home from a 4-1 drubbing at Callington.
It’s fair to say we are completely devoid of confidence at the moment. We are ponderous and over careful on the ball, and even then our execution is poor.
I spoke to the lads after the game. We are all in it together and it’s only us, the team and management, that can turn things around.
One positive is the return of Jacob Smale who has played 90 minutes across the Penryn and Sticker games. I expect him to be a big player for us in the coming weeks.
This will be Lewis Tonkin’s last game before he departs for 10 weeks RAF training. Lewis’ attitude has been superb since joining us and we look forward to welcoming him back in the new year. Good luck mate.
Todays opponents picked up a decent win midweek at Penzance and will be another tough game for us.
We need to improve in every department if we are to come out on top. In and out of possession things haven’t been good enough.
Today would be a good day to start putting things right.
Enjoy the Game
