Check out the Gaffer’s thoughts as we welcome the players, staff and supporters of Callington Town to Bodieve Park on Wednesday evening.
A really disappointing performance on Saturday saw us exit the FA Vase at the first hurdle.
I’m at a loss to explain the lack of aggression and intensity from the lads. We were quiet and passive. Congratulations to Cullompton who fully deserved their win.
You don’t have long to feel sorry for yourselves at this time of the season and the chance to put things right against Callington has improved my mood slightly over the weekend. I think the lads will come out firing.
Tom Strike and Jacob Smale will return to the squad.
Since my last notes, we’ve managed to bring Tom Harris to the Club. He’s someone who’s progress I have tracked for some time and I’m delighted to bring him to Bodieve Park.
Callington will be a tough game for sure, Shaun has done a terrific job since taking over there and we will have to be at our best to get the victory.
I think it’ll be a different Bridger performance from the one on Saturday.
Enjoy the game everyone.
