Check out the Gaffer’s thoughts as we welcome the players, staff and supporters of Camelford to Bodieve Park this afternoon in the #RiverCamelDerby
Having missed the away victory v Camelford due to work commitments, I’ve been looking forward to this one for a few weeks.
We’ve picked up some nice results since our last home match.
Consecutive victories against Sticker, Dobwalls and Bodmin after our thumping win against Mullion has seen us get back on track after a little flat spell.
It’s fair to say there have been a few changes since my last notes.
We have added some real quality:
Jacob Rowe has arrived from St Dennis and has hit the ground running scoring 5 in 3
Ross Fallens and Phil Lowry have come across from Newquay.
Jack Bowyer has also joined the club adding to our options going forward
I was disappointed to lose Ewan Reeves to Bude. He’s been great for us, but he decided to take the opportunity to play for his home town club and goes with our best wishes
Jack Rapsey has left for Newquay. I fully expect him to go there and kick on again. A top lad who the lads took to instantly.
He will be joined there by Charlie Willis
Sam Mellor and Jack Carron have both joined St Dennis. Jack was quality for us but Aaron Dilley has added a new dimension to us with superb distribution, reducing Jacks opportunities.
Obviously it can take time for new players to adapt to a new club but I’ve been delighted how all of our new signings have started.
Finally well done to Bridger Sam Wickins who won his conference in his first season in the States. Good work Sam
Enjoy the game everyone
